GREED
A great affliction of humanity
Has always been the lack of sanity
Greed is the evil that is worse
For larger bellies and a fatter purse
There is so much frenetic zeal
To lie, to cheat, to grab and steal
Madness is money, it is gold
It can be bought, it can be sold
It's all a “dog-eat-dog” affair
With nothing else but greed to share
And as he's hunting for the bigger bone
Man's nothing but a canine clone
His vanity is another feature
That always haunts this lonely creature
Although he knows that what he saves
Is stuff that's found in all the graves
